Dear George,
I read with great interest the recent account of your life and your medical problems. Since I have had three spinal; cancer operations and now, due to nerve damage and arthritis, I walk with the aid of a cane. I can appreciate your situation.
As a former U of M basketball player in 1964-65-66 “Cazzie Russell’s team”, I know and understand some of the adjustments you have undergone with your medical challenges.
Hang in there - as Jimmy Valvano says, “Never give up”. I followed your college and pro career with great interest.
