The Detroit Free Press story about George Webster touched my husband and me deeply. As MSU grads (class of '67), George was a big part of the memories of our years at MSU. We never missed a home football game in our 4 years at MSU - we were there at the '66 Rose Bowl and had 50 yard line seats at the famous 10-10 MSU-Notre Dame game. My husband also played intramural basketball against George. He was truly a "BMOC".
Please accept our small donation to George's medical fund. We wish it could be more. We also hope that you will pass this note on to George -we are sure that he does not remember- us - but we will never forget him. We pray for him and are hopeful that our check will - in some small way help him. It's the least we can do.
