"Coach, I am the luckiest guy in the world. Who else has thirty to forty teammates and friends come to East Lansing to visit with me! Please don't feel sorry for me." George said this to me the last time that I was with him for breakfast at the Kellogg Center on his final trip to the university he loved, Michigan State University. Teammates came from Chicago, Detroit, Stevensville, and Toledo and Houston to say farewell.
George is a perfect example of a good guy people will never quit talking about. Because of the type of person he was, it didn't matter how much money you had, what type of car you owned, or where you lived. He always wanted to help others.
There is no better way to keep George's memory alive than to donate to the George Webster Scholarship Fund which he was more proud of than any of his other awards. We appreciate any help that you can give us.
