"My major is telecommunications. I will be receiving my degree in May 2009. I was born in Los Angeles in 1982. My parents are John and Deborah Randall. I was raised in Muskegon Heights, MI. I was a three sport athlete at Muskegon High School, but my main focused sport was football.

I received a full scholarship to play football at MSU. I played for the Spartans from 2001 to 2004 seasons. My senior year, I received All Big Ten Honors for football. I was signed as a free agent by the Detroit Lions in 2005 for one year. I also played for the Berlin Thunder in the NFL Europe League in 2006. For the 2006 NFL season, I signed with the Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, and the New York Giants. I stayed with the Giants until the  Fall of  2007." I have currently been working in the industrial field.

I have spread the message to former players about the George Webster scholarship helping me tremendously to finish up my degree. Money was the only problem for me.

The George Webster Scholarship means a lot to me. Plain and simple the GWS motivated me to come back to Lansing and finish up. I was out of money and not sure how I could make it through a semester financially. Now that I have earned a degree, that opens up a lot of opportunities for me.
